Keibees Piggery – SF200

Piggeries need consistent water for their pigs both for consumption and cooling.

Due to drought, the use of municipal water was severely restricted placing the piggery business in a dire situation.

The nearest borehole was 3km away and showed high iron levels. This was problematic firstly for spraying needed in the hot summer months as well as the fact that pigs did not take to drinking the water contaminated with iron.
